Understanding Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9 CBD)

The THC in CBDistillery products is a naturally-occurring cannabinoid present in hemp plants. THC offers potential health and wellness benefits that can help promote sleep, reduce inflammation and pain after physical activity, and alleviate symptoms of stress and mild or temporary anxiety. THC works with CBD, other minor cannabinoids, and plant compounds to enhance the Entourage Effect, increasing health and wellness benefits.

What Is the CBD Entourage Effect?

The term ‘Entourage Effect’ in CBD is used to explain how all compounds found in hemp have greater wellness potential when consumed together, than each plant part consumed on its own. Take, for example, a musical band.

The guitar, brass instruments, drums, and vocals all sound and perform well on their own, but when joined together, fusion and synchronicity occurs, elevating the musical experience.

The same goes for compounds in the hemp plant, such as CBD, CBN, CBG, THC, terpenes, and flavonoids. These compounds have the ability to interact synergistically, working together when consumed, therefore multiplying the health benefits of CBD.
